Astee Horie further expands the possibilities of plastics and introduces state-of-the-art coating technologies,
including UV coating, which is essential for improving the design and durability of cell phones,
vehicle interior panels, and cosmetic cases, as well as vacuum deposition coating and laser engraving.
According to its application and function,
each of our coating technologies contributes to enhancing the value of products.
In response to the increasing demand for plastic coating, we have moved production from Japan to Vietnam.
We aim to expand production volume by instructing our Vietnam and Thailand plants in the production technology we have cultivated.

RD-TRIAL-MP PROCESS
STEP1
Development & Prototyping
After confirming the details and specifications of your request, we will prepare a sample product.
You will be requested to confirm the color and texture of the product.
We have Japanese staff stationed at the Vietnam factory, so web conferencing is available while viewing sample products.
STEP2
Production in advance
We will produce in advance on the same production line used for mass production.
This is a simulation before we begin mass production.
STEP3
Quality Check/Customer
We check the quality of products produced in advance.
This confirms that the product's quality from the production line is the same as that of the sample product.
STEP4
Mass production
If there are no problems with the products produced in advance, mass production will begin.
We will produce the product with quality checks in each section.
STEP5
Delivery to customer
After inspection, we will deliver the product.

DEVICE
Plastic coating
Flexible 3-booth line
- Multi-layer coating (base coat → middle coat → top coat), done on a single line.
- Compatible with lacquer coating and urethane coating.
High color saturation & High quality
- Rotating spindles allow even coating of products with complex shapes.
- Fixed-gun coating ensures the same coating conditions for each lot and a consistent coating film quality.
- After coating, the product is transported to a drying oven in an automated line. As a result of drying at a constant temperature, there is no color tone or gloss variation.
- The automated line eliminates static and dust during the coating process without manual contact, resulting in high-quality products with very few defects such as dust and debris.
- Suitable for coating cosmetic containers, cellular phones, in-vehicle parts, etc., where stable film thickness and gloss are required.
Vacuum deposition coating
Functional coating using discontinuous deposition
- The non-conductive film prevents radio interference and does not affect communication devices.
- The non-conductive metallic film provides excellent antistatic properties.
Low environmental impact
- Vacuum deposition is an environmentally friendly technology that eliminates substances regulated in various countries during the manufacturing process.
High luminosity & High color saturation
- The surface coating allows for a wide range of color variations and is also suitable for secondary processing such as printing.
- A non-conductive film in combination with UV coating gives a metallic appearance.
- Suitable for coating cosmetic containers, cellular phones, in-vehicle parts, etc., where stable film thickness and gloss are required.
